Starters or light bites

Chicken Liver parfait £5.00

Smooth chicken parfait with fine herb topped with redcurrant and spiced cordial glaze. Toast and fig chutney are added.

Broccoli and cheese soup £5.00

A warming soup with a hint of Stilton. Served with brown bread and butter.

Whitebait £5.00

A bucket of whitebait served with tartar sauce and brown bread and butter.

Poached egg on black pudding with Hollandaise £5.00

Soft egg on grilled black pudding with a warm Hollandaise sauce.

Mushroom Parmigiana gratin £5.00

Parmesan and garlic mushroom in a creamy sauce, topped with parmesan and breadcrumbs then flashed under a hot grill.

Smoked salmon soufflé £5.00

A classic soufflé` served warm with crème fraiche and brown bread and butter.

*Venison steak with a port & cranberry sauce £16.00

A medium rare steak with a port and cranberry sauce on top of a fluffy spinach mash.

*Cod and Parma ham £13.00

Cod fillet wrapped in prosciutto, pan fried and topped with a parmesan sauce. New potatoes and a selection of fresh vegetables comes with this this meal.

Ham, double egg and chips £10.50

A slice of traditional Wiltshire Ham to give you that “melt in the mouth “taste, two eggs cooked sunny side up and served with our thick cut Chips.

Sausages and mash £10.00

Three Old Spot sausages served on mash with our own unique onion gravy and fresh vegetables.

Steak and chips £16.00

A half-pound of rib eye beef, served with thick cut chips and tender peas.

Mediterranean vegetable risotto £12.00

Courgette, spinach, onion, mushroom, carrot, mixed peppers and tomato with Arborio rice. Served with garlic bread and mini salad.

Cod, chips and peas £11.00

A tasty piece of cod picked for its flavour, floured and then dipped in home-made beer batter or we can grill it with olive oil – served with chips and peas.

Chicken Balti £12.00

Our Balti is a medium curry served with basmati rice and poppadum’s.

Please we only have one fryer which will have traces of gluten in the oil.

 We use one deep fat fryer for all our chips etc.
